Volume of a rectangular solid or a cube
To find the volume of a rectangular solid, multiply its length, width, and height. For example, a solid with dimensions 2 cm by 3 cm by 5 cm has a volume of 2 × 3 × 5, equaling 30 cubic centimeters. For a cube, you can find the volume by cubing the length of one side. So, a cube with a side length of 3 meters has a volume of 3 m × 3 m × 3 m, or 27 cubic meters.
